Where were you born?
I was born in Harwinton, Connecticut. That's in the Northwest hills of the state.
There were lots of trees to climb, stones walls to walk on, and lots of frogs and
fireflies to catch. We had a huge hill for sliding in the winter, and a shady brook
to wade in summer. It was heaven!
What other kinds of art do you enjoy?
Every kind!! I love to paint murals. I love to weld. I have had several gallery shows displaying my sculptures and check out my children’s furniture on the more art page. It's great fun!
Did you go to school to be a writer?
I have a BFA in Graphic Communications. Which means that I learned how to communicate with pictures - I also designed logos and annual reports for huge corporations all over the world. Then I became the Creative Director of an advertising agency, which was fun. Then I decided to do something different....
What is your favorite color?
Definitely white.
What is your favorite food?
M&M’s, mango’s, and sushi. But not all together - yuk!
Did you always want to be an artist?
Yes! I always loved art. All kinds of art. I wanted to be a painter, a sculptor but most of all I wanted to work at Disney World!
Do you have any children?
Yes I do. I have two children, a girl and a boy.
Where do you get your ideas?
Sometimes ideas come from my children, sometimes from my own childhood. Every time I go for a walk a new idea pops into my head. Ideas are everywhere!
Where do you live now?
Now I live in Colorado. There are lots of deer in my yard, lots of hummingbirds at my feeders, and lots of red rocks to climb. It's heaven!
